Realization & Reflection

This afternoon I felt unwanted, taken for granted, lonely and sad. But after reading notes from a site, it made me realized that....

I just realized that we should not pamper our own brokenness. It's enough to know that we are broken but savoring the situation and doing nothing is more like torturing ourselves.

Action: Accept the pain and sufferings but allow God to fix us. Seek his help and depend more on his grace. The next thing we know we are embracing peacefulness.
Lesson: God works best with broken vessels. Because the more broken we are, the more dependent we are on His grace, the more truthful we are about our condition, and the more we can allow Him to fix us.

Pretty & Cutee tips

I have browsed several blogsites and make-up tutorials at youtube and I just want to share it to all the "Pretty & Cutees" out there.

This picture below was taken during our YAMsterlympics Grammy Night. I tried to follow the make-up tutorial of Jen (From Head to Toe) so far it turned out ok haha. About my hair, I didn't have the time to fix it so I just put half of my hair up to have a clean look. For my gown, I got it from Quiz (City Center, Doha - Qatar). I really wanted to wear a long gown and when I saw this sparkling purple long gown it made me stayed 20 min in the fitting room. heheh....

For my stiletto I got it only from Shoemart  (City Center, Doha - Qatar). I just thought it could be a nice pair with my gown.

Here are the make-ups that I used. As you can see I am a big fan of MAC hehe, I also discovered that my face looks younger and fresh every time I apply Ponds Youthful Glow Day Cream. My Highlighter and Mascara are from Body Shop, eyeliner from Clinique, eye shadow palette and lip gloss from Reserve Naturelle and my labello for my chopped lips.

For my accessories I just used this silver earings with fancy diamonds hehe to match my sparkling purple gown and of course my engagement & wedding ring. Plus purple blue bracelet and floral black hair pin.

YAMSTERLYMPICS 2011 CLOSING CEREMONY

Last night was a fabulous and the most glamorous night I've ever had with my fellow YAMsters. We ended our yearly sports fest with a theme of "Grammy Awards Night". We had 2 weeks preparation, it was tiring but we all enjoyed every single details of it. From the planning of the program, stage set-up and venue decors, video presentation till the caterer that we have chosen, whew...its was really a big effort for all of us.

I had so much fun and enjoyed the program specially the intermission numbers from my fellow YAMster and of course the usual thing "photo boot session" haha. I think most of the events that I went to, this photo booth was always present, you can never missed this portion or else you would not have made a history on your FB, Twitter or Blog sites.

Below are just a list of the things that I remember that really stayed in my mind....
  1. the mirror and plates set-up on stage
  2. the photo wall (collage photos taken during the entire Y2011)
  3. table setting with our recycled blue silk cloth plus the wine glass of MJ haha
  4. buffet set-up from Rey Dizon Caterer
  5. the red carpet of QICM hall
  6. of course the Grammy attire of all YAMsters
  7. the Star Award Trophies made my MJ
  8. the certificates designed by Avon and prepared by me haha
  9. the exciting intermission numbers of Rainier Flores, Solomon, Ladee Quito, Rainier & Larry Rapper and the energetic hunk YAM boysssss (or should I say the "Buwis Buhay" number haha)
  10.  all the Awards given to the winners
  11. after the Closing Ceremony we also had the "Cleaning Ceremony" hahaha
  12. and we ended it by a coffee session at our favorite hung out, ang walang kupas na coffee shop " Starbucks" haha (with Sky, MJ, Rainier F, Rivka, Jem, Madz and meeh)
Well I guess that's it hahhah...maka blog lang eh noh??? Oh no before I forgot I want to thank also the special message of Jeromezky who started the YAMSTERLYMPICS on 2009. Because of him yearly we are having this kind of activities to fellowship with our co-YAMster.

hooo I can truly say that I really made an effort this year because this is my last year here in Doha and 1 more month I'm back to my home country "Philippines" to join my husband. So Good bye Doha hello Lipa, Batangas!!! hehehe..I will surely miss YAM, it helped me developed my Christian life as a Single person and prepared my self of becoming a matured wife.

Awwww feeling sad right now but I know everything has a purpose and I will still see you if not here on earth in our final destination which is Heaven!!!

To God be the glory!!!! Shalom guys heheheh.....

Love you all byeeeee
